CLOVAINE gel can be used up to a maximum of 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor or a pharmacist.
CLOVAINE gel is intended for short-term use until you can get to a doctor. It should not be used continuously.
If the toothache persists, consult your doctor.
Route of administration
Wash your hands before and after using this medicine.
Apply thin layer of CLOVAINE gel to the affected area of the mouth or gums and gently rubbed in.
If you take more CLOVAINE than you should:
Overdose symptoms may include uneven heartbeats, seizure (convulsions), coma, slowed breathing, or respiratory failure (breathing stops).
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you take more CLOVAINE than you should.
If you forget to take Clovaine:
if you forget to take a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it.
However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
If you stop taking Clovaine:
Do not stop taking CLOVAINE unless your physician tells you to.
