Dosage and Administration
Always take OLANA tablets exactly as your physician has told you.
You should check with your physician or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Dosage:
Your physician will determine what dose is appropriate for you.
- The daily dose is from 5 to 20 mg once daily.
- It is recommended to take OLANA tablets at the same time each day.
- Do not stop taking OLANA unless your physician tells you to.
If you take more OLANA than you should:
Call your physician or go to the nearest hospital emergency unit immediately.
Overdose symptoms: drowsiness, sleepiness, tachycardia, arrhythmia, sweating, agitation, aggressiveness, high or low blood pressure, fast or slow breathing, muscle stiffness, problems with speech, unusual movements, acute confusion, seizures and coma.
If you forget to take OLANA:
Take your tablets as soon as you remember.
Do not take two doses in one day.
If you stop taking OLANA TABLETS:
Do not stop taking OLANA unless your physician tells you to.
Sudden stop of taking OLANA may cause the following symptoms:
sweating, anxiety, tremor, nausea and vomiting.
OLANA should be stooped gradually under supervision of the physician.
